Re: New Coal Grove Coach???
For some reason they keep erasing stuff on this post. I don’t see what the big deal is. Anyone know any applicants?

That’s ridiculous! So don’t mention the wellston coach so we can keep this going. Any other names come up as candidates?OVC wrote: Fri Dec 28, 2018 8:52 amSome people can't handle their names being on here.GalliaTribe wrote: Thu Dec 27, 2018 7:31 pm For some reason they keep erasing stuff on this post. Lucas would be my thinking but he may not want to go home . That’s the obvious first option though

Re: New Coal Grove Coach???
Why does this topic seem to be so silent? Does no one know anything or is there no interest in the job? I’m really surprised there has not been more attention on this topic.
Re: New Coal Grove Coach???
If there is interest, I would be surprised. Almost a D7 school playing with D4's & D5's all year long is tough to compete. With Gallia, Ironton and Portsmouth getting back on track, could be a long road for the Hornets the next few years.

Well hopefully there is some interest because that school has some tradition. It still blows my mind that no names have been mentioned? Hopefully they won’t have to settle for someone below average to fill the position.

Re: New Coal Grove Coach???
Haven’t heard of any other names other than the ones previously mentioned.
Re: New Coal Grove Coach???
I've only heard one name for sure and the rest have all been hearsay. BUT I will say this has been hard on the boys. My son has always had love, heart, and talent for the game, but this coming up year will be his senior year and his 3rd different coach. He has no intentions on playing his senior year, which is sad. Hard for a program to excel with no stability.

Blaine Fuller would be an awesome young coach that could turn Coal Grove football back into a dynasty!!
Re: New Coal Grove Coach???
DRAGON70 what qualifies Fuller to be an awesome football coach? Although he seems like a fine young man from what I have seen but I am only knowledgeable of his time as a Jr. Hugh basketball coach. Just curious.Dragon70 wrote: Fri Jan 04, 2019 12:31 pm Blaine Fuller would be an awesome young coach that could turn Coal Grove football back into a dynasty!!

I think Kyle would be an excellent choice for the Hornetstkd325 wrote: Fri Jan 04, 2019 12:27 pmKyle Mcknighthsfbfan wrote: Fri Jan 04, 2019 10:54 amWhat name would that be?tkd325 wrote: Fri Jan 04, 2019 10:17 am I've only heard one name for sure and the rest have all been hearsay.
