Waverly @ Chillicothe 1/5/19
This will be a tough matchup for the Tigers. Coming off a hard fought victory against West last night, how much will Waverly have in the tank?
Also assuming there is a JV game being played, if so what time is the tip? 6?

Waverly wasn’t 100% healthy last night so I’m not sure they will be tonight. But, they have to have better effort than they got/gave last night too.

Looking forward to seeing the napkin stats on this one ! - good matchup ! ...Chilli looking to stay away from the L's that have been stamped on other top 8 teams this week - Zane Trace losing to McClain ... Sheridan losing to John Glenn ...

My Tigers just really have fits scoring the basketball. They play hard and don’t take bad shots...they just don’t make many of them. It’s a great group of kids.

Doesn’t help that Chillicothe can be stifling on defenseoldschoolqb13 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 05, 2019 10:45 pm My Tigers just really have fits scoring the basketball. They play hard and don’t take bad shots...they just don’t make many of them. It’s a great group of kids.

Chillicothe basically has an answer on defense to every type of player.mlittle wrote: ↑Sat Jan 05, 2019 11:11 pmDoesn’t help that Chillicothe can be stifling on defenseoldschoolqb13 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 05, 2019 10:45 pm My Tigers just really have fits scoring the basketball. That may be true, but we have trouble scoring in general...no matter the opponent.

As special as the Robertson kid is, any team that has to rely on a freshman to score is going to struggle offensivelymlittle wrote: ↑Sat Jan 05, 2019 11:11 pmDoesn’t help that Chillicothe can be stifling on defenseoldschoolqb13 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 05, 2019 10:45 pm My Tigers just really have fits scoring the basketball. We have some kids that will play their hearts out on defense, are as aggressive as you can be on a basketball court, but just struggle to shoot the basketball (from any range really). So, teams usually deny Robertson the ball and play him tight all over the floor, then sag into the paint b/c they're not worried about another outside threat. This creates no cutting lanes for the guys that we have who can get to the rim off the dribble and basically makes our offense look like a passing game around the arc. We can't make defenses move enough to create daylight and usually are outrebounded big-time.oldschoolqb13 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 07, 2019 10:32 amI agree. Missing point blank shots from 5’ and closer is just killing the Tigers right now. Remington finally got penetration working for him to finish with 18 points but the next man up was Trey with 5......
Guys are playing hard, just cant get it to go in the hole...
