Re: Assistance Needed : Post your Top 6 or 7 ...
Portsmouth loses 2 starters, MyQuel McKinley and Danny Lattimore. What is coming back for the Trojans, and their current year:
Amare Johnson 5-7 FR (has started)
Drew Roe 5-9 FR (has started)
Miles Shipp 6-2 SO (regular starter)
Matthew Fraulini 6-2 JR (regular starter)
Jack Workman 5-9 JR (has started)
Others who will compete for starting jobs next season:
Daryionne Bryant 6-2 FR.....front runner to start based on his size and skill level; football injury has kept him out; outside shooter
Michael Duncan 6-0 SO.......could start; if not, will be in the main rotation of 7 or 8; football injury sidelined him; outside shooter
Jayllen Thomas 6-1 SO.......starter for this year's JV team
Donovan Carr 5-10 FR........starter for this year's JV team (outside shooter)
Richie Bowman 6-1 JR.......splits time with varsity/JV
Eric Purdy 5-10 JR............starter on JV team
Brandon Clark 6-4 JR........splits time with varsity/JV
Chris Duff 6-0 SO.............starts on JV/has played some varsity (outside shooter)
If I had to pick the starting 5 right now, I would go Fraulini, Shipp, Roe, Johnson, and Bryant (even though he hasn't played, I know his game). My first off the bench would be anybody who could provide some outside shooting. Overall, Portsmouth's perimeter game should be much improved.
Realistically, I think Portsmouth is 2 years away from being really good. The way Bryant's growing, he could be 6-4 or 6-5 by next season. The Trojans could start as many as 3 sophomores in 2019-2020.

Yes from the sources I have talked to Fox is out.

Thanks guys ... this is such great information ! I've had a couple coaches text me their info as well - great stuff ... it really does help in looking at who will be doing the most reloading/rebuilding - the varsity experience or lack of varsity experience etc. ... thank you.
