Colby Bartley of Miller has put up some great numbers.
If the MVP is an individual award and not a team one he deserves some consideration.
THROUGH 16 GAMES HIS STATS ARE:
PTS. 343
REBOUNDS 100
ASSISTS 52
STEALS 45.

Stats on Hardy from SG ?
Lolyd from Wahama.
I believe Belpre has a good post player.
Does Southern or Eastern have anyone in contention for MVP?

The Bartley boy from Falconland has to be considered.
He is 9 points away from setting the single season scoring record.
He has made 80 3's while shooting 42% on his attempts. How many kids could do that if they were in the gym alone?
He isn't just a gun and has amassed a bunch of assists.
This is an individual award but imagine where his team would be without him.
If you and I were going to throw our car keys on the table on a single game of TVC Hocking kids.....he'd be my first pick.

Truthreader it's an individual award---unless you are proposing to give it to the team that wins the league.

Re: TVC hocking MVP
I think he’ll get it next year. Miller was just a very young team this year, and that showed.ultimate warrior wrote: ↑Mon Feb 18, 2019 9:13 am There’s no question who this should go to. Colby Bartley is the obvious choice.
Re: TVC hocking MVP
Bartley is an excellent ball player but his stats seemed to diminish when he played better teams. It’s great to score 30 points against bad teams but when better teams with better defenders he wasn’t as efftective. That and his team only winning 1 game will probably knock him out of mvp in my opinion. He will no doubt be 1st team hocking and probably get many other awards but probably fall just short in mvp race in my opinion. I’ve seen every team in hocking play at least once and would have to say front runners would be young from Waterford or big kid from belpre. Most consistent players I’ve saw. Trimble has couple really talented kids on their team but I think they will work against each other in mvp race. An example is above in this post alone. There are at least 2 young men talked about. My opinion means diddly in grand scheme though.

Ditto above But do think one of the Trimble kids was more consistent than the other and one does more than score one is a much better defender. And when the starting point guard was out due to injury one of the Trimble kids stepped up and filled the role of leader and being the go to scorer for the team.Kendog029 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 18, 2019 3:08 pm Bartley is an excellent ball player but his stats seemed to diminish when he played better teams. Re: TVC hocking MVP
From watching quite a few TVC Hocking teams, the Bartley kid should get it IMO. I know their record isn’t great, but they’ve competed most nights. Take him off that team & see how many competitive nights they have. I mean no disrespect to Miller’s other players, but Bartley is a pretty good player.
