browsing through these. Personally what's most obvious anymore are the number of players achieving the 1000 point barrier, and the frequency in which it is occurring. Increasing regular season to 22 games, less recently the 3 point shot, and let's face it, the evolution of offensive game planning that gets the great shooters/scorers as many looks as possible. (Kinda like how passing records have dropped like flies in football?) Appreciate all the effort involved by those who compiled it!!!
Just one small "bone to pick" however: the inclusion/exclusion of schools the players actually played for while eclipsing the 1000 point mark. This almost exclusively occurred in a HUGE consolidation era of the 1960's through early 1970's. Totally understand it is not with intent to omit these specifics, but should be noted imo. Here's what I have if there is anyway to make corrections:
-Glenn Burchwell and Bob Shaw played for Centralia, not Zane Trace (consolidation 1966)
-Ron Shoemaker and Vern Knapp played for Twin, not Paint Valley (consolidation 1959?)
-Carvel Simmons and Ron Storer played for Frankfort, not Adena (consolidation 1966)
-Jerry McDonald, Bill McDonald and Paul Large played for Clarksburg, not Adena (again 1966)
Again, REALLY not trying to be picky here, but once these references are lost, and the players get lumped in a school they did not attend, then the historical accuracy is gone forever...
Thanks I'll make the edits
