Youngstown State @ Pitt
For those of you keeping up with Andy, the Penguins travel to Pitt tomorrow for their season opener. He is the starting TE on all formations but one and is on four special teams. Good luck Penguins, safe travel and hopefully, an injury free game!

Good luck to the peguins and Andy,
I find it a shame though, that nobody is busting on Pitt for "scheduling wins"
like they did OSU for playing YSU two years striaght.

We get busted on plenty on early season schedules in local media.Everybody plays cupcakes early on so it's not really justified to blame bigger schools. But at least Pitt plays at a quote un quote cupcake now and then.Example at Buffalo this year.At the campus site no less...And we have lost to cupcakes too... at Ohio in 2005.And we almost lost to Furman D2 in 2004 in our last BCS bowl year.So the underdog does have a chance all be it slim.Good luck to YSU Mum! But not too much!

Re: Youngstown State @ Pitt
Wrong, BP - WAY MUCH LUCK to the Youngstown State Penguins.
"Cupcakes" my foot!!! I hope the Penguins put the "icing" on the Panthers!!!
And BTW, Tank Whaley, alum of the OSU Buckeyes, came from a "cupcake", and any other cake, and pie, and bread baking family - that's why they called him TANK! I'm pretty sure Andy has devoured a few of those same Ironton "cupcakes" himself, and is ready to "roll" and flatten you!

Sorry Cag if you or anyone else was offended, but even osu fans looked at ysu as let me put it a better way a "guanteed win" when they played them...So I'm not really off by much. I wish all local players the best no matter who they play for...I hoped I would hear his name called but I didn't.Best of luck to him the rest of the way...I dont believe we or anyone else should playing these types of games but it is what it is.Sorry once again....

Thanks for the support to all for Andy! He represented his Tiger background well and did what his coaches ask of him. He ended up grading out well and we had a great experience visiting Pittsburgh and Heinz stadium and then staying over in Youngstown and spending some time with him. Now, onto their 'non money' games with no injuries! Absolutely beautiful stadium and setting up there on the rivers, but, the parking and construction leaves a lot to be desired.

From what I take they have always had traffic problems and parking problems around the stadiums...Now they have a casino between both stadiums...
Best of luck to your son the rest of the way.May it also be injury free and sucessful...
