1. Logan hires Parkersburg South Head Coach Mike 'Brick Walls" Eddy to rescue ChieftainNation.

2. Warren hires Pburg Souths Top Assistant Matt Kimes to breathe fresh life into their program.

3. Warren really needs a league

4. Logan really needs a league

5. Parkersburg South really needs a league

It sure looks to me like the pieces are in place to resurrect the SEOAL. I think once these schools make the announcement its only a matter of time before Marietta comes calling. At four teams you have a viable start to a league. The big stumbling block will be Hannan HS who has placed a patent on the rights to the name SEOAL. Maybe if they were accepted as member a deal can get done. Thoughts?

We will definitely consider taking these guys into "our" league. It is definitely fitting that it will take a bunch of West Virginians to save the SEOAL. But with "Brick Walls" and "Steam Boat" leading the way I dont know how this league can be stopped.

I'm pretty sure that the final members of the SEOAL have ownership rights to the name SEOAL. So unless all of the final members joined (doubt Jackson would), any new league would not be called the SEOAL.

Sorry to spoil your boner but we acquired those rights. Plus, Jackson joined another league. Sorta like those cut and runners at Athens. So they have no say on what our league does.
