Agree completely about Evan Leist. He is absolutely deserving of this award.
Miller or Leist should win it.

To me it would be Evan Leist. They would not have only one loss if not for him, and he just about brought them back against Oak Hill in that one loss.

I can’t seem to find any stats listing where these three above are mentioned comparatively .in regards to scoring. Anyone have any idea where this can be found ?

Sexton is by far the defensive POY hands down.

Evan Leist and Michael Miller are both deserving imo..Caldwell and Sexton both had outstanding years for NB. Despite an injury Kimbler from Green deserves to be mentioned as he makes Green go,kid is a great player. Brewster is an outstanding player as well for Western. All these teams had good seasons. Some great talent in the small school division this year.

Lane Brewster, IMO, is the POY, but wont achieve this award due to his team not being on top in the SOC.
Evan Leist is without a doubt the MVP of the league.
And since this is a Player of the year award and the Eagles are more than likely to win the League, I would pick Michael Miller.

Evan Leist player of the year imo. If not Leist, award goes to Miller.

I do not think there is anyone in the SOC1 that is more important to their team more than Lane Brewster. He leads the team in every category other then maybe steals. I mean no disrespect to other young men on the Western team. Lane is one of the best players in the area and he has the stats to back it up. I do understand that it usually goes to the league champs, but Lane is a special talent.

It is either Brewster or Miller. Brewster has to do everything for western. He has been great all year. Eastern is an average team without Miller. He is the difference as to why they are so good!

What's the difference between POY and MVP?

This is an individual award . What should the league standings have anything to do with it . It should be based on the individual stats . Should go Who leads or is at the top in the most categories .

I know their record isn’t great but the flannery kid from east is averaging around 22 a game and playing really well, also hear he’s about to get his 1,000

I agree. Most every team has candidates for POY. There's a little more basketball to be played before that decision can be made!
