Logan the heavy favorite I am sure. Good game for Athens to play against great competition and get ready for the Sectionals. Playing at Logan gives Athens a little advantage I would think heading into the game against Logan Elm at Logan next Friday. Jackson comes to town on Saturday for Athens last regular season game. Thoughts??

Logan just came off of a BIG TIME game with state ranked D2 Sheridan - the Generals played the same type of 3-2 matchup zone that Athens plays ... in my mind Logan just had a 32 minutes "live" practice session to prepare itself for the game Friday night vs Athens ... the Logan man 2 man D is outstanding ... home crowd, senior night, White Out, vs Athens ... going to be fun to watch ! Logan will put up similar perimeter numbers (23-25 triples going up/ vs Sheridan 10 found the bottom of the net) ... Logan vs the Athens D will need to be THAT successful from the perimeter to get the W ... Logan vs a bigger Sheridan was out rebounded 30 something to 20 something ... they made adjustments at the half and out rebounded SHS 18-16 in the 2nd half - vs Athens Logan will need to do a better job on the boards overall as Athens will have a size /strength advantage for sure ... I'm excited ! another 2 good TEAMS going at it for 32 minutes AND only 5 minutes from the house LOL ...

This should be a great game . Athens has a very good team. Won the TVC Ohio . Logan did just what Floyd said . they had a 32 min practice against a matchup zone . there is benefit to running a zone and there are some down side . I look for a packed house with a lot of noise . Chieftain Nation will be there . Senior night , white out and 2 really good teams . Good luck to the Purple GANG !

They are by far the best area team. Myers is a great outside shooter. He went for 37. If Logan is hitting they are tough. They did blow out a very good Pickerington North team

The alley-pop dunk by Robinette in mop up time at the end was the greatest dunk I have seen in a long time at the high school level. I did not see that coming.

Great game by the Chiefs and congrats to Bo on a new career high. Congrats to the senior boys for playing a great game.
