Not really---hate to see anyone lose---just trying to state facts---I always thought Jackson as a football school not basketball?
I wasn’t replying to you VC . Dandy Don despises all things Jackson .
Jackson is a football school but basketball program went from ashes to very competitive . A lot of people excited to watch them and the gym is packed each home game .

Final game of the season for both teams. Athens seems to be peaking at the perfect time and Jackson has shown some improvement and better consistency on the road here of late.
These two teams played this summer in the Jackson league and Athens won by about 40. It was silly. Williams was unstoppable and Athens made every shot and were near flawless on defense. Again this season Jackson will not be at full strength.
Jackson has had 3 different players score 22+ in a game this season. Matt Humphreys has really added something the last few games and on the season is leading the Ironmen in 3 point %. Jackson only 3 turnovers against Alexander and only 6 against Chillicothe.
Two pretty good teams. We’ll see if Jackson can pick up their best road win. I look for Wallis to utilize his unconventional post move to get things opened up in that tough and long Athens zone. It’s hard to explain, you won’t believe it until you see it. Caden Donaldson hit two huge 3’s to beat Washington CH....hope he hits more huge shots Saturday
Hopefully a fun game but most importantly no injuries for either team
... advantage Jackson tonight simply due to seeing the injury to Athens PG Elijah Williams last night vs Logan ... my guess is EW will not play tonight with the game with more on the line is next Friday night in Sectional play vs Logan Elm ... just don't think the Athens coaching staff will put the chance to go to the Convo "on the line" tonight - might be wrong/ the ankle injury may not be as bad today as last night/Williams tried to work though it in the half time warm ups but couldn't give it a go ... the Athens PG puts a lot of stress on his ankles/knees - lots of stopping/starting AND the young man get's off the ground crashing the boards ... he was sidelined earlier in the season with a knee issue ... hope it's not as bad as it looked when he rolled it last night ... next man up for Athens ...

6’5 #3 scorer Davis is out for Jackson
THAT definitely hurts - thought I read that Humphrey is doing a great job inside as his replacement- BUT having Davis (and I have seen him at his best) out is not easily filled by anyone ... but with the game so much geared to the PG - Wallis for Jackson is a BIG advantage for Jackson - as Athens has no one who has his speed/skill set at both ends of the floor... while Athens down their starting PG Williams is a major hurdle for the Bulldogs to sidestep ... give us some good in game updates I92 ...
