I’m a tiger fan from afar . In my day Ironton was the only high school football team south of Columbus, east of Cincinnati that could compete with the big city boys .

Well since the school numbers leveled out, it’s pretty much been burg. Remember when ironton was the bigger district? Might have had something to do with it.

Word on street is recruiting has been hot and heavy by the Tigers. Probably just a rumor.

I agree, I think they were conditioned. They lost because they were just outplayed.

They lost cause they were young, fellers. My theory is younger teams have trouble closing out ballgames. It almost gets infectious. Their secondary is probably gonna have advantage this year instead of disadvantage. I wouldn’t get too cocky yet. I bet there are a few burgers going to the scrimmage up on the hill.
