Convo 2/28 8:00PM Washington Court House v Fairfield Union
2nd game of the night — the first night of the Convo.
15-8 Washington v 15-8 Fairfield Union.
Both teams played challenging schedules this year and had their ups and downs.
Should be a good one!

No real clue on this one. To me, WCH might be one of the tougher first time matchups around. They are quick, long and have the athletes. I like their style for the Convo court.
Washington CH 50
Fairfield Union 43
Washington CH 50
Fairfield Union 43

I like 50 in the scoreline.
That Thursday District is anyone’s I believe.
You should have come to Chillicothe BWW after Saturday’s Game. You might have been only person from Jackson not there. Max tried to give away 2 of his 3 kids and my wife was more than willing. I seriously don’t know how coaching families do this with young kids!!
Happy time. Good moment when the team came in.

I'll take FU by 6. I believe it will stay in the 40's.

Should be an outstanding game between two very good basketball teams. I think I would give a very slim edge to Washington C.H., and I mean slim.

This could be the 2nd of the 2 matchups on Thursday night where the first team to 45 wins.
Possibly 40.

I think FU is built to handle a team like WCH...but, Conley really struggled with the length that we were able to throw at him back in December. So, while he’s outstanding, I think that Upthegrove could be a major issue for him.
I don’t think that there will be much scoring at all, but both have shooters who could catch fire between Leisure and Poston.
I’m hoping WCH gets the win for our sectional, however, I think this one is an extreme toss up and will be an absolute grinder.

... FU will start 1 (sr)/2 (jr)/2 (sophs) ... all have length, nice height - they ALL look like basketball players ! LOL ... lots of talent in those youngsters - Ryan Magill (so) hit 2 BIG TIME 3 balls vs Marietta ( the second got the Falcons separation at 7 points in the Sectional Final) ... Andrew Moll (so) fits the mold of good 6-4'ish size/ wing span ... Huston Harrah (jr) post player - a finesse guy on the inside - nice touch off the glass in that 8-10 ft range ... Chase Poston the other junior can hit the triple from the perimeter ...Coach Eversole brings in the 2 seniors Cooperider and Baker ... obviously the man who makes the offense go is Evan Conley at the point - does it all for FU from beating pressure, 3 balls, medium range jumper, gets to the rim AND he plays D ... very nice TEAM ... win or lose FU gets the youngin's some valuable post season experience for next season ... FU is going up against ALL seniors I believe for Washington CH - Upthegrove/Tayese/Burns/Porter/Leisure (someone correct me if I'm wrong on this group - Leisure might be a junior?) ... Coach Scott has done a great job getting the Blue Lions on the same page after Stewart was let go ... focused and definitely IN this game ... wish both teams & coaching staffs the best ...

Will be rooting on South Webster alum Connor Scott and his WCH team. Great year for WCH.*

Thanks Art. South Webster is definitely what shaped him and there are 2 people who live in The Village limits who have driven much further to watch basketball this year.art_vandelay wrote: Wed Feb 27, 2019 7:33 pm Will be rooting on South Webster alum Connor Scott and his WCH team. The 4 seniors are a fun group to root for. Leisure has stepped in and done a great job. When he hit 4 from deep in the first quarter vs Unioto ... I knew we would be ok.
Evan Upthegrove is special. He has blossomed this year.

What is the depth for FU like? WCH will have even less depth than normal tonight. Just gotta stay healthy, out of foul trouble, and grind this one out. Looking forward to tonight, it's been too long!

I like the coach from WCH. I think he does a great job and has good instincts in game. But, I will give the edge to FU due to the coaching experience. I will say FU 54-44.

Thanks Ironman92. I have the best seat in the house for this one. Just to the right of Sweet Lou.
