Caldwell being 6'7" needs to play more inside game in this one against a much shorter team. You can't teach height but unless Sexton gets more help Trimble will run, run and run some more.

Not at all impressed with New Boston. Are they talented? Yes. But their offense looks incredibly poor so far, given the talent. Lazy passing, almost no rhythm in terms of plays and sets; basically just pass and crash. In transition they’re sick, and they’re playing tough on-ball, but I just don’t see them being able to finish this one out.

They're not that deep so fouls are gonna do them in here shortly . As long as Trimble keeps running around like house cats it'll keep NB and the height at bay. Is Howie stomping yet ?formerfcfan wrote: ↑Thu Mar 07, 2019 6:40 pm Not at all impressed with New Boston. Are they talented? Yes. But their offense looks incredibly poor so far, given the talent. Re: 3/7 Trimble vs. New Boston District Championship
NB has some talent in that backcourt, but they’re trying too hard to play at the pace Trimble is forcing and Trimble is making them pay. That Caldwell kid is one of the most talented bodies I’ve seen play at the Convo in D4 but they (NB) are doing themselves no favors offensively. And that’s maddening considering the game that the Sexton kid is having. Trimble is shorter and possibly less talented, but they’re far better coached and playing better basketball fundamentally.FANOSPORTS wrote: ↑Thu Mar 07, 2019 6:38 pm Caldwell being 6'7" needs to play more inside game in this one against a much shorter team. NB is better. Plain & simple.
Never underestimate Cats heart & hustle though - or coach Caldwell.

Is it the Sexton kid or Caldwell kid with 3 already? Sorry, trying to SEOPS and watch is tough. Thought it was Caldwell, but may be wrong.FANOSPORTS wrote: ↑Thu Mar 07, 2019 6:44 pmThey're not that deep so fouls are gonna do them in here shortly . Hasn’t stomped yet at the refs, but he got a good one in toward the end of the first I believe getting his kids to tighten up and cut the lanes.
