Who is best player? You guys played them good twice philo fine fella. What was your record this season. Have you seen the Ironmen play or their players. If you are forming an opinion from the Waverly game I could see your thoughts. Give us a Sheridan game plan how did you guys play them so good.

Your saying they can be beat how do you come up with an eight point spread. That 56-48 is the same score as philo last game with Sheridan. I doubt the electrics went .500 this season. You know Pete woods tell him odd-lots said hello.

Just saw this post, Pete is definitely a friend of mine, great guy and family!

Philo did end up 12-12 this season with close losses against Sheridan(both games), John Glenn, Tri-Valley(both games), Morgan, & Cambridge. Good starting 5, but no depth at all.
They were able to battle with Sheridan because they are probably one of the few teams that could matchup with them. Philo started an athletic 6’8 freshman(AJ Clayton. Plays with All-Ohio Red and is a homegrown Roseville kid who may end up near 6’10) and a 6’4 senior who was All-MVL. Philo(and just about everyone else)just couldn’t guard Ethan Heller. Too quick and can score from anywhere on the court.

I have only seen Jackson & Sheridan play one game each this season. I think it will be close until the end and Sheridan will pull away with free throws.

This game will come down to who wants it more! Who can be mentally prepared to take it to the other team from the get go. Ironmen have the capability as does Sheridan. If both teams show up its gonna be a brawl. If one doesn't show up the other will make them pay. Good luck and hopefully the Ironmen bring it from the start. No playing back in this game if either team let's it get too far out of hand. Best of luck Ironmen!!

If I were betting on THE upset of the weekend on 93bulldogs thread - I'm taking the Ironmen in the upset of a #1 seed this weekend ...

Been traveling quite a bit with work so haven’t really gotten to post or watch much lately. I will say congrats to Jackson and tough one for Big Bad Blue. However I would also like to congratulate Warren on a very good season. Always proud to support Warren and how they carry themselves. And good luck Jackson.

Even though it's the last game of the weekend, I think it could very well be the best game of the 4 games.

Jackson needs to find a way to win to help the Sheridan community out. If Sheridan boys win they’ll play at the Convo on 6:15 Thursday and girls in Columbus at 8:00

Can’t miss half of the state semi!

6:15 Wednesday (13th) per Ohsaa Athens Regional chart which have D2 & D3 dates flipped from what the Athens District end charts have. Maybe they were flipped because Sheridan's girls are state bound already ?
