Wisconsin @ #9 Ohio State
Wisconsin @ #9 Ohio State
This game is going to be very very physical I feel OSU DLine will be the difference in this contest & propel then to a 10 win over the unbeaten Badgers...... Who do y'all think ??????
Re: Wisconsin @ #9 Ohio State
Ohio State has a good game in the air and wins. Might also finally see Jammal Berry in this game. He has been injured since arriving at OSU.
Also, isn't Wisconsin ranked #25 in the coach's poll, which is used in the BCS formula? No need to change anything, and am not complaining, I just thought I saw that early this week.

Re: Wisconsin @ #9 Ohio State
Wisconsin has looked good, and bad, and sometimes in the same game.
They need to run the ball well, and use play action with their very acurate QB.
The line opened at 14.5, and has moved to 16 by most accounts.
Buckeyes roll another one up.
The badgers are the only team that Tressel doesn't have a winning record against
in the Big 10. That was mostly due to Alvarez though, and Belima doesn't really scare anyone.

I think OBVIOUSLY, The Buckeyes D-line will be the difference, it is the deepest and arguably the best in the country. Wisky's aggressive running style and inefficient passing game wont be a factor. i think it will be more dominant than the score reflects.

OSU wins straightup.
However, at this time I am leaning toward taking Wisky and the points.

Wisconsin will find a way to lose to Ohio State, they always seem to.
Ohio State 27
Wisconsin 20

Except for in 1999, 2001, 2003, and 2004 (did not play in 05 or 06). OSU won in 2000, 2002, 2007, and 2008.
I think OSU finds a way to win because they have better talent across the board and a better coach. Wisconsin needs turnovers, and for the flu outbreak to get worse on the OSU team.

I do not know about you but I live in a what have you done for me society, and in the past two years Wisconsin was very much in the game only to blow it big. That is what I was going on. Thank you for this history lesson.
Re: Wisconsin @ #9 Ohio State
Losing 38-17 isn't exactly blowing it big. Last year, yep, they lost on a late drive.
Wisconsin should be tough though. I'm just not sure playing a more talented team, with a better coach, in their home stadium makes it one's game to lose.
To Wisky's credit though, it's tough to get a feel for them.
They led N Ill 28-6 with under 10 min left, before allowing 2 late tds, 1 should not have been scored as a fumble was forced and recovered to end a drive, but an early whistle allowed N Ill to keep the ball.
They led MSU 38-17 in the middle of the 4th qtr, before allowing 2 late tds.
They led Minn 24-13, and were about to score to make it 31-13, when Zach Brown fumbled and it was returned for a td to make it 24-21. They traded tds to end the game.
The only game they haven't dominated was against Fresno, and that was played with a large number of guys sick with the flu.

Re: Wisconsin @ #9 Ohio State
No, but definitely thanks to a great defense and special teams play. 14 points on 2 interception returns and 10 points on a 94 yard KO return by Small and FG by Pettry. Offense only scores 7 and looked stagnant most of the day. Thank God for that great defense.

Special teams and defense are good but that offense right now leaves a lot to be desired. The offense is not to imaginative and it will cost them again at the end of the year.

Sorry guys, I'm just not impressed with OSU at all. Pryor is leaving A LOT to be desired, indeed.
