Berlin by around 20... Coal Grove won’t back down but Berlin is just on a different level than D4 teams in SEO.

No doubt Hiland is a great program but CG doesn't play a D4 schedule. Playing at Oak Hill, then twice against Portsmouth, Fairland, Ironton, Chesapeake and Gallipolis (once with Loveday) we have played against some excellent programs. Most D3.
Athletically we should match up well but we need to play sound fundamental basketball to make it a game.
I feel confident CG will represent well. Go Big Grove!

Coal Grove is definitely good and the best D4 team in SE Ohio. I'm rooting hard for you guys! I hope you guys can beat them.

In my personal opinion, yes. That's not a knock on NB, both solid teams. But I would give a slight edge to Coal Grove.

Agree . I saw Holgate a couple times at State and they put you to sleep with low scoring games but they played that way yearly and it was their style and DNA. The Grove would have to flip a big switch for that to happen.

It still burns all these years later. State Semis vs Webster tied game at the buzzer and dude hit the 3. Score was like 27-30
