Great job LucasDavenport,Tri state. Great season NB. No shame losing to Hiland. We lost to them last year and it's just tough to play them. Soo deep and like robots,haha! Good luck Berlin Hiland. Bring it home. When Africentric and Harvest Prep and Wellington moved up I thought our D4 teams had a chance,but; here comes Hiland. Work hard everyone one eventually someone will make it

Congratulations to the Berlin Hiland Hawks on their win over the Tigers tonight. They have to be one of the best teams that I have ever seen. Congrats to our Tigers..............Regional Runnerup!

Look up about Hiland basketball and coach Perry Reese. Unbelievable story!!

It’s also the time Hiland came on the radar for boys Basketball and it had just trickled down to other sports ar the school since then

If you read the story of that first state champion basketball team you’ll see a lot of the same names of this years team. Raber, Miller and a few others.

Hiland is a great school and great community. Perry Reese gets the credit because he was the one that took them to the state and won the state. But the person that started it all at Hiland was “Charlie Huggins”. (Legendary Hall of Fame Coach and Father of WVU coach Bobby Huggins) If I remember correctly Reese was an assistant to Huggins and took over for him.
