Want unknown (new) track athlete is going to make a big impact this season

Every year there are a few athletes that no one or at least very few people know about and they make a big 20 point impact at the league and district meet. Who are those big new contributors going to be?

I think the Hurtt boy from Adena will take a big step this year in the Discus and the shot put.

Also think the Woodson boy from Gallia should do well this year as a freshman.

Landon Wigel is due. He vaulted something like 13' 6 in the 8th grade. With a couple injuries and being away from vaulting his sophomore year and starting out slow last year it could be his year. He is from Warren.

I don’t know. They are strong kids. They have been lifting for a while I’d guess. A lot of their football kids run track. I like that. They may be baseball kids too though. Trimble does a great job of getting their athletes in most of their sports.

I think it is Monday, April 1st that Trimble will be at a Logan meet so I should be able to see what they have and then they might be at the Rocky Brands. There they will be up against several TVC teams.

Trimble has to have their athlete's to play as many sports as they can so they can have teams.

OHSAA State qualifier both years of junior high in the 400 and very very competitive in the 200 and 100. Her determination is elite

Eden Edenfield....Hillsboro....raw athlete and competitor. Current events are Pole vault, 4x200, 4x400 and open 200....she is athletic enough to be placed in any of the sprint events and be competitive

Olivia Kennedy has been the meet medalist at all 3 Invitationals so far (Jackson, Minford, Paint Valley)

I saw both Edenfield and Kennedy last year very good and helping both teams a ton!
