"Washington County" tourney, starting Saturday 3/23
"Washington County" tourney, starting Saturday 3/23
Caldwell, Marietta, and Warren playing 2 games each at Warren. Fort Frye, Waterford, and Belpre playing at Belpre. Looks like temps in the 30s and 40s, but sunshine. Can someone please post the time of each of the three match-ups at each location? Are the game times like 10:30, 1pm, and 3:30? Thanks.

That's why I put the quotes in the topic line! 4 small and 2 larger schools in the county doesn't fit too well.
Re: "Washington County" tourney, starting Saturday 3/23
Yesterday's Marietta Times spring sports preview said the small schools were playing at Belpre, yet the schedules they had in the paper for Belpre and Waterford showed them playing at Fort Frye. So along with not knowing the time for each match-up, I don't know the location for the small schools either.

Fort Frye School calendar shows the games (small schools) being played at Fort Frye. Todays Mtta. Times also the same.
Re: "Washington County" tourney, starting Saturday 3/23
Fort Frye beat Waterford 14-9 in a game that went nearly 3 hrs.
Second game is Belpre-Waterford, Third game is scheduled for Belpre- Fort Frye.

Frontier didn't want to play, so Caldwell volunteered to fill in.

That's what I figured. I'll bet it was their turn again this year to take their turn with the larger schools.rickoshay wrote: Sat Mar 23, 2019 3:18 pmFrontier didn't want to play, so Caldwell volunteered to fill in.![]()

Anyone have the result on the Belpre v. Ft Frye game Saturday?
Re: "Washington County" tourney, starting Saturday 3/23
In the Marietta Times Friday, the listed schedules of both Belpre and Waterford showed them playing each other April 9th and 29th. So I'm thinking yesterday was not a league game.

Looks like today's game, Mtta. vs Fort will probably be a washout?
