Unioto Girls are looking for a new coach after coaches Cara Rathkamp and Kendra Dalton stepped down after the season. The pair led the Shermans program to a 52-14-10 record in their 4 seasons.

The cupboard is definitely not bare, even though they lose a loaded class, so it is a good job for whomever applies.

Tri-Valley HS boys varsity job is filled by Rod Gibson.

Gibson has been an assistant with Muskingum University for the last two years. Previously was the head coach at Rosecrans for four years.

I am guessing that with the change in girls coach at Athens, the preseason super scrimmage is not going to happen this year? That has always been a good event with lots of teams participating.

Thanks for the info, I was hoping he/they would return. I know their record wasn't very good, but it's a process to build, or rebuild a sport. I feel the same about the girl's team there, they need a solid staff to stay and help the student/athletes improve.

I heard that Logan Elm girls were looking for a new coach, but also heard a rumor that they didn't have enough girls for a team. Not sure which (if either) is true.
