The Athens Bulldogs return to the diamond and on 970WATH Monday evening when they welcome the Vinton County Vikings to Rannow Field on The Plains. Junior Nate Trainer tossed a 5-inning no-hitter and also collected 7 RBI at the plate to lead Athens past Alexander 14-0 on Friday. Monday’s TVC-Ohio showdown between Athens and Vinton County can be heard live on 970WATH with pregame at 4:50 and the first pitch at 5:00.
