Wilmington left about 8 runners in scoring position and held a runner on a semi deep fly ball where the RF caught the ball running towards the foul line. Credit to Hillsboro, because they kept sticking around. I do believe that the field ump missed 2-3 calls that nearly hurt Hillsboro throughout the game as well.
It was just a strange, strange game.
