Sounds like an awesome defensive game. Wouldn’t expect less from the creme of the crop of Southern Ohio. Hopefully these two can hook up again in the Regional Finals.

I am too BF69. Minford is really good, 10-0, and have beaten some good teams. Minford also scoring lots of runs this year. I think the Burg Ace, Burg defense and offense, take care of business tonight to prevent a repeat of last year at Minford. Between the Home Plate Umpire controversy and that PA Announcer there not announcing a certain player who left Minford each time he came up to bat, and then turning on his microphone to laugh at kids when they made errors, it got pretty hostile there.

Come on dude. There wasnt a PA announcer intentionally laughing at Burg players last year. Grow up.

Anyways, Minford won this evening 5-3 against Burgs ace. I will say that Burgs pitcher looked good until Minford got runners on base and then he fell apart hitting the strike zone. That was the difference in the game. Both teams looked very good and fundamental.

Minford will be harder to handle and much faster on Friday night with their normal starting lineup.

Grow up? Ur announcer is 60 years old and treats kids that way, also their adult fans, sad! guess ur going to say he announced his name each time he was up? He didn’t!! IMO the SOC ll conference is Burgs to win if they play like we know they can . They should have never lost to Minford but things happen and that loss was a wakeup call

West is a very good team, can beat anyone on any given night, already beat Waverly this year by a score of 8-6, and their record standing at 7-4.

They gave Burg a great game and Burg pulled it out 5-4. West has scored 55 runs in the last 3 games, average of 18.3 runs per game. They have great pitching and great hitting. Both Burg and Minford have to take care of their own business from here on out.
