Re: 2019 Cincinnati Reds
Nice series opening win, go ahead home run in the 9th by Winker (already 8 home runs for him!).
Also, I was one of those people that was a little bit confused by Castillo getting the opening day start, but wow has he impressed!! Through the first month of the season, he leads all of baseball in ERA with a 1.23. Very impressive.

Re: 2019 Cincinnati Reds
Through 5/2/19 the Reds are 13-18 and 7 games back of the division leading Cardinals. Cincy though is 12-10 since their disastrous 1-8 start to the season.
Surprisingly the Reds lead the NL in team pitching ERA and are dead last in the NL in team batting average.
The Reds are to call up top prospect Nick Senzel for tonight's game against the Giants.

Re: 2019 Cincinnati Reds
The Reds released Matt Kemp yesterday.
They also brought up Josh Van Meter from AAA. If you know anything about Van Meter, you have to be beyond excited about him coming up! He's a utility guy, plays everywhere in the infield and outfield. This year in AAA, he's hitting over .330 and has 13 home runs, in just the first month.

Loved those ole back in time uniforms they've been wearing. Very cool. Reds looking good in performance and the digs. Roark looking good on the mound. Consistent.

Re: 2019 Cincinnati Reds
Votto sucks. Was at the game Friday, Votto did get one of the two Reds hits, but he had a lower batting average than DeSclafani who also sucked.
