Both come from a short field set up by the DEFENSE.

OSU looking much better but the slow start on offense scares me. Some teams on the remaining schedule could bury us if we cant move the ball on the first 3 possessions.

That is what the defense is supposed to do.

The second half Tressel called some different plays and Pryor did a better job getting set to throw the ball. They were helped by short field but hey were able to score and not settle for FG's. Hall and Martin ran good.
The defense played well even though they gave up a late TD with the second team in. The backup QB was able to come in and play well. To bad Pryor can not run with some of the power Gray ran with.
Pryor seems to play with more confidence and mechanics when they are winning by more than 2 TD's. The offense needs some fire and show some excitement on the field for the whole game when they play against better teams.

They had 500 yards of O, and 275 came in the first half. The O had some success.

We'll just have to wait until they struggle again to get out the brooms and pitchforks.

I'll say it again on this thread, because it applies.

The offense that we saw today, that gave us 500 yards, over 300 yards from
Pryor with 3 TDs.

IS THE SAME OFFENSE THAT HAS BEEN PLAY CALLED ALL YEAR!!!

The difference is in the exicution of the calls.
And the elimination of the drive killing mistakes.

I would also like to add that I really like Jordan Hall and Jermil Martin.

And I'll say it on this thread also, The OSU O did it agains not a very good Defense of Minnesota and they should run and pass all over New Mexico St. next week but then comes the proof of the Pudding --Weeks 10,11,12
And yes I enjoy football season and I dont hate OSU. I just dont get carried away and think they are better than what they are. They are a 9-3 8-4 team this year and nothing more

The only one that concerns me is Iowa.

None of the 3 concern me one bit. Ohio State is the best team in the Big 10. They have one bad game & everyone is all over Pryor & Tressle. You don't see that crap at USC when it happens EVERY YEAR.

This had not just been one bad game from the offense at Purdue it has gone on most of the year. The rest of the Big Ten schedule is not easy and they all have better defenses than Minnesota.

anyway you look at it farmer Minnesota lost 38-7, Penn State won 20-0 against Minnesota any given day is different the defense can improve alot in a week of practice same goes with offense. We did bad against Purdue but we rebounded nicely almost every big time team will do bad. Were a young team only going to get better an trust me we will.

The bucks offense looked a lot better today. I liked how they had TP take more snaps under center and hand the ball off and do a ittle play-action. That is what you call traditional Ohio State football 3 yards and a cloud of dust. The defense played exceptionally well to and they would've had a shut out if JT wouldn't have put the 2 strings in. The bucks play Trevor Walls and the New Mexico State aggies before they play their final 3 big ten games. TP should have another big game.
