Call Logan for an extra game. We don't bite. We probably need an extra game having no league and cancelations. Northridge canceled on us at the last minute. We play you guys Thursday I believe. Make it a double header. Just a thought, not sure how they do it in scheduling needed games.

Chiefs take one on the chin to Warren, 17-3 Tuesday. Off day and then Athens Thursday.

Logan knocks off 12-2 Unioto Thursday. Logan now 6-11

Logan got bounced by Vinton County last Saturday 13-0 and dropped a tough one to Gallia after leading early 11-7.

Logan dropped two this week to Marietta and Chillicothe. Logan lost 8-0 to Marietta on Tuesday and 15-3 to Chilly on Wednesday. Logan is now 6-15 on the season. The JV Chiefs are 9-8 on the season. Logan goes to Eastern on Friday.

... Coach Sutton is leaving the LHSD ... his wife works at Alexander HS & they have a little BB player - a toddler - would guess that trying to get closer together workwise/child care wise/ life wise is a priority ... Coach Sutton has been a good coach in getting the LHS program turned around ...on top of that he is a quality teacher as well at the high school - those skills will be missed at LHS going forward ... I wish Coach Sutton the best as he moves on ...

Best wishes to Coach Sutton as well. Good, young coach with still a lot of opportunity ahead of him. Has a big picture mindset and approach to coaching the game. Always enjoyed my interactions with him.

Logan knocked off a very good Gallia team last night 2-1. Logan will play Teays Valley in the opening round of the D1 tournament. With a win the Chiefs would then travel to New Albany.

Looks like we got Logan next. Athens beat Marietta on Monday but struggled on offense. On paper Athens should win but Logan always plays Athens tough
