Minford has to play perfect and hope Burgs bats are cool . It can happen. Burg an obvious favorite but each time you play someone better than you you learn a little more about how to overcome things . Softball is such a short fast game .. A couple lucky bounces or a ball that lands inside a line at the right time changes things . Be a good game . I just might go

Two very good matchups the first couple games. I will be curious if MInford tries to throw their non pitchers again to negate the Burg bats. Worked well the first 2 times but could be costly come tournament time if Burg figures it out quickly.
Couple errors the first couple games were the difference and neither team really able to string together big innings consistently. Looking forward to a great matchup.
I am going with a 7-3 Burg victory.

I think the difference this time will be the 7-8-9 hitters for Burg. They are swinging the bat with more confidence and all hit well against Meigs. Any production from the bottom of the lineup makes Burg extremely dangerous.

Burg hit the ball hard against Meigs 1-9. They will start getting into tourney groove. Be tough to beat.

Ironton over Huntington 1-0. Huntington had their chance in top of the 7th with 2 on and no outs and Moore struck out 3 in a row for the W.

Good game, Moore had 18 Strike Outs and gave up 3 hits

Burg had control the whole game. I thought it would be a closer game. Minford had some coaching decisions that made me scratch my head. Why did Minford walk Sturgill to pitch to Hughes who has been Burgs hottest bat? Either one you pitch to is probably going to do some damage but why give that free pass?
