Hard to say , I think a lot of people underestimated Fairfield. They put a bunch of balls in play yesterday , They didnt strike out hardly any , but Moore is a K type pitcher . Who knows , Ironton bats were hot as the day was yesterday . Ironton seems to have really jelled , and Moore is very poised and calm in the circle . I'd give the edge to Ironton but it will prob be whichever team doesn't kick it around in the field .

Well, Burg is out and Ironton is still playing!!! Anybody still thinking Burg deserved that higher seed over the Lady Tigers??? Oh well, I guess , that , once again I am just being “obtuse.”

Well done Lady Tigers, I’ve thought all season Keegan and Katie were the top tier pitchers. Ironton just shows that players home grown can go far in this. I like when people say o they live in our school district now, but all star teams , doesn’t make automatic state champs, or even regional champs or even District champs. I’m rooting for the Ironton Tigers to win the next game and then three more. Look at all the move ins at schools and look at programs that build from within, a refreshing idea isn’t it.its called loyalty to a program and helping improve your home schools chances.

Rocket. The grass isn’t always greener somewhere else.

Maybe kids wouldn’t move or transfer out if their program was “loyal” to them or show interest in building around talent rather than small town politics running people off.

That is exactly why White transferred from her hometown of Hillsboro to Fairfield.

Trust me, losing earlier than expected in then tournament does not mean the grass isn’t greener!! You and rocket have no idea what you’re talking about and no idea the circumstances around why some of these young ladies transfer.

I might be wrong but didn't Moore just transfer to Ironton either this year or last? Not really home grown.Prime Time wrote: ↑Sun May 19, 2019 4:27 pm Well done Lady Tigers, I’ve thought all season Keegan and Katie were the top tier pitchers. Correct. Moore transferred to Ironton from Coal Grove.
