I am hearing that the numbers are down in the weight room. Not a good thing.

Numbers are down in weight room. But I think that has a little to do with how young a lot of this football team going to be.

I hope that the young fellows get more interested as the summer goes on.

Just curious....who would Gallia fans consider to be their toughest competition this coming season? Looks like about two losses coming in my view...Point Pleasant and Ironton?

Most definitely Portsmouth and Ironton. We have some good talent coming up from the junior high level too.
Re: 2019 Gallia Academy Blue Devils Outlook
Portsmouth is nothing. Ironton has Currico but is still nothing compared to years past. PP will be the toughest game by far.GalliaTribe wrote: ↑Sat May 25, 2019 11:08 am Most definitely Portsmouth and Ironton. We have some good talent coming up from the junior high level too.

Unless things really begin to pick up this team will be like 6-4 or 7-3 at best. Hopefully I am wrong there is still time but a lot of kids not fully committed.

I would think Point is the best team. They put up 76 on Gallia

That Gallia team wasn’t very good and this years version of point pleasant won’t be as good as that team but I agree point is best team on schedule.Raider6309 wrote: ↑Mon May 27, 2019 2:28 pm I would think Point is the best team. They put up 76 on Gallia
If I recall that game blue devils had 5 or 6 drives of 2 plays or less and gave up 28 of those point in a little over 2 minutes in afirst quarter that took well over a hour to play.

Hopefully once school is out, as the early summer drags on, the boys will come out and hit the weights.
