What IF Athens never left the SEOAL? Would Zanesville, Chillicothe, Ironton, and Portsmouth have stayed
I think Zanesville and Ironton would have left only because of the long trips. If they had stayed away from the N Vs S games the league would still be together. 10 teams with a 6 league schedule with N Vs S games against the closes. Zanesville should have been playing Jackson and Chillicothe of the South, Ironton should have been playing Logan, Athens of the North. Marietta playing Jackson and Gallia. Portsmouth playing Athens and Logan and so on. Track should have been the only sport where all 10 came together and played. When they put the 10 team SEOAL together they were thinking of the possible big games only. Should have been more thinking when they decided to go with 10 schools.
Take the TVC--- I think Athens is playing 6 league games only and four other that are not of the Hocking.
