Jackson should be tough. Hartley should win the region but Jackson should be pretty close to #2 in the region

Jackson will be fine this year . They’ve had a great off season numbers in the weightroom, a lot of experience returning. They’ll be a handful for everyone they play.

Love the Modesty poo if the offense shows up they could have 4500 yds and should average 48 points per game. I would hate to be an opposing defensive Coordinator. The defense will be bigger faster stronger. Oline gains some stompers 300 lbs. that can move. Should be a great season. Hope the boys stay healthy. Good luck Ironmen!

Jackson will battle and fight to make playoffs. They lost some real leaders last year . They will have to find what works on offense and hopefully go back to the 3-4 or 5-2 on defense and just turn the dogs loose. We’ll see who steps up and becomes a leader

57 Parker Staten 300lb. saw some action last season I imagine he is much stronger he has good feet good hands could be more physical but he was a sophomore.
71 Skeens 320 rough around the edges but big and pretty quick for size. Saw some action at running back last season would have score if coach gave him the rock.
72 Mahoney boy needs to grow some but will be a player 250lb.
56 ruck 240lb. he’s a stalwart on the oline quick strong and athletic.
I also like the graham boy 70something

There is one other change on oline that will make a huge difference but we won’t go there you will see.

The o-line will be questionable with some new starters but time will tell. Whoever the QB will be has to step up this year and be consistent and make some big plays. Icenhower showed signs last year of doing big things but he has to be consistent. Yes Jackson has 4 nice RBs that could put up big numbers but the o-line has to produce. Not saying they won’t but they will need time to jell together to make that happen.

The defense will be fun to watch. Lots of speed everywhere.

Any predictions yet on starters?

No Blake Cross?

Trevor Norris?

Ruckel is 225 not 240 but will lead that line.

Mahoney needs to grow some? Where on earth does that analysis come from?

Several changes that I’ve heard SOMEONE will be playing defense. Trevor Norris hohum looks weak to me. Last years line was a debacle at times a couple linemen were experts at the look out block. The would turn around and tell icenhower “look out, here he comes”. Don’t even think about changing the snap count. How many false starts do you remember?-too many there were also several unsportsmanlike calls that were a shot in the foot.

This line in my opinion will be better than last years. They should be able to get the push that ways lacking at key positions last year.

Your question was who were the 300lb stompers I should have just left it at that but for kicks I just named a few key young options.

Again this is my opinion based on observations some weights and numbers might be a little off.

1000 lb club that’s good I’m sure a lot of changes in a year. He is a late bloomer I hope he proves me wrong works his tail off and makes himself into a player.

Well I was asked who. I didn’t really volunteer names at first if you will remember.

True but saying a kid “looks weak” is kinda weak imo

I forget we are in the age of safe spaces and Coddling. We hold their hand instead of tearing them down and building them up.

What does “looks weak” mean anyway. This kid you bashed is 6 4 275 and has busted his butt all winter to get stronger. What does the carrico kid have to do with anything?
