Don't see Gallia leaving the OVC. It is a pretty good conference for them, not terrible travel wise to most games and definitely is turning into a very competitive conference. Although, the Ohio would give them all of the same things generally and would mostly be closer for travel.

In the OVC they will probably go 50/50 with Ironton, Portsmouth should always be competitive. Just my thoughts.

7 out of 10 may be an exaggeration (maybe 3-4 outta 10) but to say they "currently" aren't on Athens' level is incorrect.

Gallia would be right in the mix to win the TVC just about every year if they were to join. I could see Gallia, Athens and NY (with an occasional outsider) battle for the championship every season. I’d love to see the Blue Devils join the conference but I just don’t see it happening. I think they would be behind Fort Frye, Warren and Oak Hill in terms of getting an invitation.

So what you’re saying is that Gallia is a better fit in the TVC Ohio than Athens? Since they are closer in size to meigs, river valley and vinton county.
