Of course it was, I’m sure he was approached early by some of them. I know a burg kid was approached early by some of them. It’s a small area. Nothing like building a program from the top down. Works every time. Good for Parker for not taking the bait.

About like you’d think....

I'm pretty sure it ended CG 6-5. Don't quote me, but i think the CG lineman won most of their challenges. Burg is an awesome team as always, glad Grove got a chance to work with them last night.

Yea that's the final score that I heard too. I also heard that Wheelersburg defense had 6-7 ints, with CG having 3. Sounds like our passing game needs a little work.

He’s not at burg.

He was going to come up but there was 2 reasons that made him stay at Portsmouth. Good source. Ask around people know why. If not for that reason Portsmouth loses their best player! It’s nothing big just what he knew.

I would think so. In two games against the Pirates, Salyers is 13 - 29 passing for 116 yards with 1 TD and 4 INTs. The Pirates came out on top in both games as well.

That will make for a good matchup , Ironton has some big athletic dudes that can play upfront on both sides of the ball , with a ton a dept , Irontons Dends are real good, Especially after adding one , the online returns all but one and he will be replaced by a new face too . Look forward to watching this matchup

I was just referring to Salyers likely being a little extra motivated to prove his worth in his last outing against the Pirates, after having 2 subpar performances. I agree with you about Ironton's approach. They will likely feed Carrico and Brownstead the ball most of the game.
