Your Least Favorite HS Venue
Your Least Favorite HS Venue
What's the worst HS venue for you to watch a game at? Why?
Mine is Ironton, terrible visiting seating and a very annoying announcer. And the food at that dairy bar across the street sucks!

There's the BURG....then there's everyone else!

West, if you're sitting on the away side you need binoculars to see the game.
Re: Your Least Favorite HS Venue
Eaton....minimal visitor seating, no parking and no locker rooms
Concession stand smelled like an incredible cookout so that was cool.

Wellston. You walk around and there is so much loose gravel (is there any pavement?). It feels like they put the field in the middle of what was supposed to be a driveway.

I'm glad this stadium finally got the change it deserved, but Trimble's stadium was aweful. I know its about history and tradition, but the re-designed facility looks much better.
I'd have to say the worst now is Wellston by far

Fairland. That place is just about terrible all around. Seating, lighting, and the field itself. Also for future reference to visitors. A fairland fan told me last year, if it’s not pizza. Don’t eat out of the concession stand. They have a mice problem that doesn’t get taken care of. Best thing they can do is bulldoze everything and start over lol.

Defiantly Wellston, all though having a concession stand on the visitor side is nice

Never been a fan of stadiums with tracks.

I like gallia. I like walking down the steps. I just don’t like the walk up them.

God keeps trying to destroy that dump by flooding it but Gallia keeps playing there. I remember back in the early 2000’s they were supposed to upgrade it but that never happenedBeergogglebluez wrote: ↑Tue Aug 13, 2019 5:54 pm I like gallia. I like walking down the steps. Not a fan of west as a whole, also not a fan of the visiting bleachers at Coal Grove (feel like I’m going to break my neck when walking on them lol) & River Valley (too small). Was never a big fan of sitting right under the highway at Chesapeake, but when we went last season, I do believe they moved them a bit farther away than when I had previously been (years ago lol).

Left handed hasn’t been to Wellston in a while because it is paved around the field but the parking lot needs work.

Wellston and River Valley both are not my favorites.
Can't really complain about Trimble now that they have new lights and seating.

Fairland and River Valley.
Fairland has a lot of the problems Memorial Field has, plus the problems mentioned here.
River Valley is just so friggin small. Visitor bleachers maybe seat a large marching band, if that.
