Yes I was able to make it to the scrimmage. Chilly looked to be down a little bit, but Wheelersburg looked very good. I was surprised how smooth the offense looked even while interchanging 3 QB's. I was also impressed with DLine size and the speed overall. This week with Granville should be a better test. I think they have some good size and several good athletes. We will see how the Pirates fare in a couple days.countywide35 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 21, 2019 9:12 am

What I did say is that past results should urge Ironton team/staff to take advantage of developmental opportunities to make sure past results do not repeat themselves. I assumed your comprehansion was on par with the hot air you've been blowing, but I guess I was wrong.

Nothing gets by you does it buddy lol exactly what I was fishing for. Good luck to your Tigers and the fan base. A fan base that I will not connect to your antics. They don't deserve the idiocy you are injecting into this forum.XandO72 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 21, 2019 5:31 pm* comprehensionspider2Ybanana wrote: ↑Wed Aug 21, 2019 9:05 amNot once did I say that that past results will dictate the same result this year. Sounds like you are the QB Daddy or BrotherXandO72 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 21, 2019 12:24 amThat is also why you will rarely hear me mention anything about what any team did last year. Or any year in the past. I do not care. The last game these two teams played they both lost and one of the two got spanked. They are both undefeated when they tap in.
And this season the depth and talent and experience is as comparable as it has been in a long time. B0TH teams are gonna get blood in their mouth. BOTH teams are hungry and I believe one team has a little bit bigger chip - but so what. Still gotta execute.
@ Tanks
Ironton has the more individual elite skill position talent this season and Burg will be looking to establish an identity & Ironton is more experienced and talented at QB.
No score yet. I'll do that closer to game time, but Ironton is going to win this game. Decisively.

I can understand the excitement and passion for your team but you’re underestimating the skilled athletes burg has on the offensive side of the ball but more importantly you’re grossly underestimating the line.XandO72 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 21, 2019 12:24 amThat is also why you will rarely hear me mention anything about what any team did last year. I don't know how you think I would fit a violin in my pants and it's not dead it's just leg day on wednesday. Horseback riding is usually on the weekends. Need my rest during the week.
Re: 2019 Wheelersburg Pirates
Speaking of dead horses, do ya think the Rose Bowl champs will have a parade this week or is it postponed? I waited at the airport but I think I was just lost cause I missed the big celebration.522Pirate wrote: ↑Thu Aug 22, 2019 12:10 amIt's probably under the other dead horse you keep beatingXandO72 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 21, 2019 10:09 pmI can't find a violin emoji.spider2Ybanana wrote: ↑Wed Aug 21, 2019 6:58 pm

Re: 2019 Wheelersburg Pirates
I was up watching practice yesterday in wheelersburg and it looked like Tanner Holden wasn't practicing and rumor has it Trent Salyers transferred to Green.
Re: 2019 Wheelersburg Pirates
Perhaps it’s you who is overestimating. I think ironton does have a good team but burg looked solid in their first scrimmage. I still have burg as underdogs. Waiting on second scrimmage before I make a predictionXandO72 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 21, 2019 10:10 pmMaybe. I’m pretty certain you are definitely lost...

Maybe. I hear the rose bowl champs are the consensus #1 in the nation.wobycat wrote: ↑Thu Aug 22, 2019 6:17 amPerhaps it’s you who is overestimating. Re: 2019 Wheelersburg Pirates
Salyers was drafted by the Raiders. Seen him on HBO's hard knocks and Holden is gonna be the XFL's 2019 "He Hate Me." No worries though, the Rose Bowl champs are the KINGS OF SE OHIO and Pasadena, CA.
