You and I have had back and forth with this before. It's completely ridiculous and I'm pretty tired of seeing it. Shame on these coaches for even having a kid in a position for this to happen.

My teams when I was in HS, we stunk, and even when we did win, our coach didnt even allow us to get hat tricks. I had 2 goals multiple times and was moved to another position. Now we have kids scoring 5-10 goals in a game that is a blowout, and then want people to vote for them as dpoy or all state just based on high numbers. Ridiculous.

On the flip side, piketons coach has his keeper with 48 saves in 2 games on ossca.. either shes about to get called up to USWNT, or shes credited with a "save" every time she touches it.

the score is correct, i know a parent on their team. I lost alot of respect when Chillicothe left the OCC because they kept getting the butt handed to them.

Yes it was a sad game. Z.T. should no where ever be playing the teams that they are right now. They play Lynchburg Clay, Fairfeild Union, Albany Alexander, ( nothing they can do about Unioto being in the SVC ), and Marietta and Wheelersburg. Almost all of these teams made it to the sweet 16 and some to the elite 8. Z.T. have 4-5 girls that has done Club and only 2 ( The Addy sisters ) that does it right now. They have 13 senior and only maybe 4 senior has ever play soccer before and almost the same with Juniors, They have 2 freshman and 2 sophomores. The girls are arguing with each other on the field. The players that hasn't played before don't want to listen to the girls that has played before. Their A.D. really put it to them this year.

However, knowing ZT, and the kids they've always had. I'm sure they played hard last night and every game. Not a game I think FU wanted to schedule either, but sometimes they happen.

Only 2 kids playing club is tough though. Hopefully those sisters can get more to give it a shot. Does ZT have a JH program?

That is what I was wondering. Chillicothe has some decent players. They have one player that is kinda of a show off from what I have heard, they are a super slow team and heard that Marietta has some very fast fowards.

While the AD is ultimately the one who "schedules" the games, the coaching staff is equally or more responsible for the schedule. ZT has always went out of their way to play an extremely challenging schedule.

The 2 sisters ( Haynna and Savannah Addy ) Haynna is their scoring leader. She has been their only player with double digits for goals. She is a senior and almost didn't play this year, only reason she played is because of the amount of colleges wanting her to commit to them. Savannah is the youngest and a sophomore, and played hurt from the Lynchburg Clay game. Her shin looks like it has another calf muscle and all black and blue. Yes they have a Jr. High Program but when you are only getting 1 or 2 girls on the Co-Ed team that doesn't do much for High School.
