Russell couldn’t tear a picture of Raceland in half!

Ironton is loaded. I doubt Russell scores

Russell is better than many believe and I hope our youngsters don't take them lightly. That said, I'll take the Fighting Tigers in this one...28-10.

It's gonna be all "between the ears" from here on out for the Tigers this year. As an outsider I think there's a good plan in place by the coach for the future of this program moving forward. I'll take Ironton by 3 td's.

Russell is a little better than Wheelersburg in my opinion.

Russell is supposed to be pretty good this year, we’ll see how they do against Raceland tonight.

This is a different game. Russell is good at physical ball. They will take their time and get small gains. I hope the boys can be patient and stop their run early. Ironton is going to win because our defense is that good, but a blow out will depend on the offense being more diverse. Another xfactor is Ironton's kicking game is the best I've seen in a decade. That kid was on point, touchbacks, field goals, kicked away from Matthews. I hope the offense gets going early. They could of beat Burg by 50 last night.

The kicking game is great but there's some concerns about how he's getting the punt off. I'm sure he under Coach Pendleton can get that ironed out soon though

Agree . Ironton wore them down and they quit much like the playoffs last yeartigerfan98 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 31, 2019 3:59 pm This is a different game. Russell is good at physical ball. I haven’t seen burg play via online broadcast since they won the state in 2017.
I truly bought into the “RELOAD” hype, because at Ironton that’s what used to happen and it actually made a difference in the game’s outcome.
I was a little shocked at how much Burg seemed Tenative in many aspects of the game and feel that the “experience” they have had never emerged.
I’m not a “WHATIFFER”(my new forum posting kinda-word).
But, the rain delay played to Burgs favor for a minute, otherwise Ironton might have “WHATIFFED” 50-POINTS!
Tigers gotta stay focused and play more consistently in every aspect of what offensive production entails.
After that happens, the Fighting Tigers gain confidence and suit up for a touch schedule & OVC run!
GOTIGERSGO!

I probably live less than a half a mile from the stadium at Russell as a crow flies. You can really hear them cranked up over there right now. I didn't even know they were playing tonight or I would have went over and watched them their game starts at 7:30. Makes a whole lot more sense this time of year especially. At 7 stuff is crazy

Curious to see if Ironton comes out a bit flat to start this one or if they handle business. Running clock

Ironton needs to get the pass game rolling. 11 yards last night. There really good but get some passes completed and opens the offense. Carrico still coughed the ball up 2 times. I really liked what I saw last night. Taking Ironton by a couple scores.
