Coach Phil Faires has done a great job in building a solid program at Trimble in the past 25 years. They are one of the top teams in D - VI in SE Ohio and the state. I expect them and Fort Frye to meet in the regional championship game.

Coach Devol is a proven winner everywhere he goes, on both sides of the Ohio River. The Belpre program is much better in his second year then it has been in many years. However, we are still behind teams like Trimble and Fort Frye. Our coaching staff is solid and things are looking up. This is our first year of junior high football in over 3 years and yes they are behind the other schools but progress is being made. Rome wasn't built in a day.

Lets face it, Trimble has the better program and if you flip the coaching staffs, the result will still be the same, a very comfortable win for Trimble.

I expect both teams to play hard tonight. It would be nice to have a Belpre upset win but right now a couple of scores by the Orange and Black with some more consistent play on the offensive side of the ball is what I really want to see tonight.

Trimble by 35+ and I hope it isn't a running clock in the second half so both teams can get some meaningful snaps.

Regardless of the potential outcome can be, rooting for the Golden Eagles.

Good luck and good health to both teams.

As always...LETS GO EAGLES!!!
