Chiefs showed more improvement tonight, County. There might be more improvement by next week. Really not sure yet. I'll get back with ya on that. Our QB got kinda shaken up a bit. He played one he(( of a game tonight but took a few hard hits. I'm thinking another close one though to be serious as of now. Our defense looked good tonight. Swarming to the ball for the most part.

TVC time right around the corner for Dogs and they'll take it out on and put up 60 on a couple D5 and D6 teams to right their season . No playoffs this year. Shouldn't have made playoffs last year @ 9-1 over two 7-3 teams and a good 5-5 DeSales team who lost to Hartley 21-14 in regular season finale and Athens lost to that same Hartley team by 37 the next week in rd 1.

The new coach has them on a mission of getting better, and It's noticeable. Hard to tell playing in your house, but the Chiefs look like to me they will come to play hard. Won't be no 3 ring circus.

I’ll give props to Moore. He was excellent and tough....a step ahead. Trainor was excellent and the entire receiving corp was tough. They took some big shots from several different Ironmen. Big man Butcher played tough.

Athens should role through the TVC but will get everyone’s best shot as well. Athens was well coached, nice faculty and good hosts.

Great job Ironmen and coaches! Wasn’t perfect but a big win on the road and cleaned a lot of things up. Turnovers

Ice efficient and greatly managed the game. Give that oline and line coaches a big pat on the back. Spires tough, Graham wanting that endzone, Johnson big on every opportunity....nails tough. Davis a big play and great blocking. Prater some big scampers in big moments.

Defense solid but lost some focus with big lead and after Athens adjusted at half. Dailey had some big plays. Mastin has some eye opening wow plays. Davis was excellent again making some big open field plays...great season so far! Dline great efforts all night chasing around the elusive threat.Welcome back Mr Parks...bum ankle and all he just punishes opponents. So glad to have Joey Richison back.
