Re: Week 4 Wheelersburg(1-2) @ Greenup Co.(2-2)
I think as Minford proved last week and burg against Ashland there's a difference in football play between ohio and KY and yes there's times where a KY team plays tough or pulls out the win. For the most part I just believe there's a difference in play and I think you'll see that again this week. With Matthews back and Burg trying to build off momentum of the OT win to Blazer, I think you'll see a bit more lopsided score in this one. Going to take Burg by 3-4 scores. Just not enough around Sammons at GC to get it done.

Re: Week 4 Wheelersburg(1-2) @ Greenup Co.(2-2)
I don’t know why these two schools continue to pick each other up. I recall the two previous times this series was scheduled after the first game greenup dropped us. I could be wrong but I believe we picked them up for a multiple yr deal in 2008 and after a 35-7 burg win they backed out the next yr which resulted in us picking up cleveland vasj. I could be wrong

It’s smart picking up Ky or wv teams they get u many computer points 1st and 2nd level as they will win games for you. In the 90’s earlier 2000’s burg Portsmouth and Ironton all played 1-3 a year. Anyways just what Burg needs after the teams they have played so far! Burg by 28.

Re: Week 4 Wheelersburg(1-2) @ Greenup Co.(2-2)
After reading the minford thread, I see where minford threw the ball a whopping three times and amassed 400 and some odd yards, I gotta believe Burg grounds and pounds this week. To quote ole bait, any o line loves to block down hill.
That being said, I think they establish the run and work on passing game.
Defensively, db’s need to keep everything in front, cause qb has a strong arm and will sling it
Burg in this one

Chillicothe replaces Hartley
That’s 1 D2 and 3 D3 schools on burgs schedule
Great job by burg AD
I like the Greenup game, close, should win, and computer points
Vass before transfers 229-75 burg 5-1, Pendleton and transfers 211-84 6-2 ironton
Re: Week 4 Wheelersburg(1-2) @ Greenup Co.(2-2)
I agree with next year schedule. Burgs AD always finds close bigger teams as they are all around in three states(Ohio, Kentucky and West Virginia). Chillicothe is a good pick up for Hartley (burgs second home).fbnut wrote: Sun Sep 15, 2019 10:46 amI love next years schedule14U wrote: Sun Sep 15, 2019 9:56 am It’s smart picking up Ky or wv teams they get u many computer points 1st and 2nd level as they will win games for you. The Burg will dominate the scoring, stats and penalty yards.

All that Minford had 25 penalties but this is what I found Minford had 8 for 59 yards and Greenup had 3 for 10 yards. Per the Sports article. You are right burg will dominate

I believe Greenup County gives Burg a good game plus the Championship Greenup County cheer squad should be entertaining.
Re: Week 4 Wheelersburg(1-2) @ Greenup Co.(2-2)
Burg finally found somewhat of an offense and the defense is getting better with every snap. Burg will win this one IMO by 3 or 4 Td's. All this team needed was some confidence and some identity on offense . I hope for a injury free game. Go Burg!

Good to know about minford winning in the trenches I think that works in burgs favor this week. Keep it on the ground run about 4-5 different backs in there, play field position, and get out of there healthy with a W. Since we are picking up chilli week 2 next year any info about who will replace them as one of our scrimmage ‘s or is it still too early

I believe it’s undecided. Coach said he’s working on it....victor creed wrote: Sun Sep 15, 2019 10:06 pm Good to know about minford winning in the trenches I think that works in burgs favor this week.
