He was a passionate coach and had a tremendous spirit toward life, his family, his faith and the game of football.

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver's coach Darryl Drake, 62, passed away this morning. Steelers president Art Rooney II released the following statement regarding the loss :Our prayers and thoughts are with his wife, Sheila, his three daughters, his grandchildren and entire family during this difficult time."

Bell is not saying much in Jets county! Kind of a surprise to me ! But AB is full of his self ! Jmo ! Would be a head ache for any team ! The fun now is when the Oakland QB can't get him the ball! Tune in lol

The Steelers for the first half join the Browns for a lot of talk but not much shown on the field. The Bengals didn't get much to talk about but played the Seahawks tough on the road. The Raven's well they played the Miami Tanks. So couldn't tell much from that game.
The beginning of the second half still not going good for the Steelers.

Bergerman out for the year! Time to retire. Rudolph had a pretty decent game after coming in yesterday, gonna need more of those.

Rudolph ! 6'5" is a player ! He will have growing pains! But the D is the problem.

The Steelers do not have an eraser on defense. Like they had with Troy P or just having players making game changing plays. Like Harrison or like Bret Keisel who would step up at critical times. Lately it has been more on offense with Ben, Bell and the Gone Brown.

Rudolph can force other players to step up and not rely on Ben to make plays. Benny Snell can make plays running the ball. Gives another option as the offense. Need to get the running game going and more production from the TE's. To help bring the offense along.

Trade. Steelers send the Dolphins next years 1st round draft pick for DB Minka Fitzpatrick. He is a big name from Alabama who has not lived up to what he was in Alabama. He got moved around last year but has been on bad teams. This trade should shake up the defense to play better. As mid season trades do not happen often.

Some talk about bringing in QB Kaep. The Steelers are not returning calls. They have gotten rid of drama in Brown and Bell. They do not need anymore. Rudolph does not need this as he takes over. With Ben now wanting to help. Which some say Ben may never recover to throw in the NFL again.

Better place would be for Kaep to go to the Jets
