Ashland (KY) 16 - 10 Ironton
Re: Week 4 (3-0) Ironton @ (3-1) Ashland Ky
This one is a coin flip for me. I think Ironton has the strength and size but playing Ashland on their turf after a loss will have them striving for a win. Best of luck to both teams and hope there is no injuries and I hope it’s a solid game for both teams

man how can it be it's week 4 already. and week 3 of college football. and week 3 of pro football. it seems like we wait all year, and esp. with high school ball, it's over so quick. hopefully we have a longer season this year. but 1st up is Ashland. I mean after this week's high school game. we will be in week 5, the halfway point for teams that don't make it to the playoffs. I know that this is a lil obvious , but it goes by so fast.

I really think Ironton wins this game in gritty, old school fashion. Ironton 21-10.

Jason , me likes how you think. I hope you're right. the tomcats are gonna be smartin after an ot loss to the burg. they had a very talented burg team get by them. and I'm sure that was crushing mentally. they're goona have their claws all sharpened ready to pounce. ---------------------------- but i'll take a tiger's paws anytime over a tomcat. go tigers.Jason Vorhees wrote: ↑Wed Sep 18, 2019 7:34 am I really think Ironton wins this game in gritty, old school fashion. I think this is a statement game for coach Pendleton. I think he wants to make a point here before getting knee deep back into league play. and I just have a feeling it may be a long night to be a tomcat. I think this may be a quick game, where the tigers just grind the ball down the field. kickin butt n chewin bubble gum. and they're all outta gum.

Calpreps:
Ironton — 28
Ashland - 17
I’d say that score will be pretty close.

Ashland's offense is pretty good. Their backs are very fast and number 17 receiver is a D1 player. Problem is he has trouble catching the ball. If he does, he's immediately a threat. Not sure why he doesn't get more touches. Ashland's defense is ok. Not really an aggressive defense but athletically make some stops. Ironton is a couple of tds better if they hold onto the ball and the officials let them play.ohbuckeye2 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 18, 2019 1:20 pm Calpreps:

Good luck to both teams, I am guessing 28- 20 Tigers?

Ashland has a 150 pound linebacker and he is one neck of a player. Ask the burg kids.

One of the best Lineman I have seen played for Ashland a few years ago. He played Nose Guard at 150 lbs soak and wet. He seemed to be in on every play that game.
