Well said. Both teams has nothin but respect for each other. Larry Hall has some good yrs at burg as an assistant under the legendary Ed Miller and as the burg coach once Ed retired. This should be a dogfight.

Cal Preps:

Burg 31
Jackson 21

Burg’s new young director did her training here last year. Much improved. Burg’s Super actually called Jackson and asked all about how they manage everything with the band as they aspire to get to Jackson's level.

Yes these programs and fans respect each other. You won’t see much bad mouthin one other. Jackson needs to win this one. They are due for one against tha burg and I’m sure Andy hall wants it more than anyone. Woodard won’t let that happen so easy and with Matthew’s back just made it tougher. Who catches the breaks, capitalizes opportunities, wins the Turnover game , and wins the battle of the trenches should come out on top.

U would think being a falcon fan ole red wouldn’t want burg to lose because a loss means they’re going to falconland with a grudge the next week. Anyways this game will be tight and lower scoring game

You can be guaranteed Larry Hall will throw some crazy defenses at the Burg. This will be just a good old school high school football game. Burg is improving every week. Some schools peak too early. I believe the Burg gets better each week and proves the nay sayers wrong. Hope both schools have a good injury free game.

As just a fan, and having watched both teams this year, this could have the makings of a very good ballgame. Not knowing that much about Masters, the Burg QB, I'm sure he is gaining confidence each and every game that he plays. I do very much believe that Jackson will have to somewhat contain Matthews, I know easier said than done. To me he is a home run threat every time he touches the ball. Jackson does have 3 o 4 backs, and each one of them runs very hard each and every time they get a chance. I don't know enough about the QB for the Ironmen to really know how he is as far as throwing the ball. I'm pretty sure that the Burg will load the box, and try to stop The Ironmen from running the ball. It's one thing to throw the ball when you chose to, it's a completely different situation when the defense stops your running game, and you are then forced to throw. Lets hope for a injury free game for both teams.

Burg 30
Jackson 14

Burg has improved a good bit and Jackson won’t be able to pass on Burg. Burg has the most dynamic player and they will get deep on Jackson as reading these threads everyone gets deep against Jackson. Should be a great atmosphere for much of the game. I am likely going to make this one, hopefully.

Jackson can pass on Burg. Quick hitters and some shots downfield. I look for #9 Dailey to be the open guy and he’s had a real nice season.

Jackson definitely has a chance. Burg fans are excited because they’ve salvaged a season and they are healthy.

Burg has had trouble with running teams. They are getting better. Having said that, Jackson isn’t bringing any run game they’ve not seen. They’ve faced three outstanding running teams with d1 players running the football, so burg defensively will be prepared for that.

For burg to win, they need to continue to get better offensively. The last two games they have put over 30 points on the board. Turnovers will be key
