Burgs teams played is 13-4 vs Jackson teams played is 4-13 This might be worse than I thought! 28-14 or 35-14!!

Good point, 3 of those 4 wins are from Wellston, Western Brown and Logan are both 0-4 and Athen looks to have gotten their first win last week. Not completely sold on the Ironmen at the end of the day I think this is a 2-3 score difference as well, I'll say a 17 point spread because you know we are going to kick some field goals.
Re: WK5 JACKSON. vs THA BURG ‘19
Close game, I'll say a 7 to 10 point margin at best.

Well if there is only 1 92 forgive me but I hope it’s yours late in the game trying to get back in it You guys are too good for us to give you good field position all night when we have a kicker who can get it to the endzone
Re: WK5 JACKSON. vs THA BURG ‘19
If you can get it to the end zone it’s idiotic to not do that. Nothing bad can happen. We had that for a few years with Michael Benson who is kicking now at Robert Morris. I know he can get it there. I guess the question seems to be for our coaches is how consistently can he get it there and when he doesnt how good is our coverage. It’s the only thing I can think of as to why we have consistently given teams good field position with such a young defense

Re: WK5 JACKSON. vs THA BURG ‘19
The Pirates have played 3 power running teams this season and have given up 30, 44 and 33 points against those teams. There are plenty of reasons for the defensive lapses : Horsley getting hurt, a too good Hartley team, holding calls being missed etc.. the fact is the d-line needs to mature/get better. This game will show how much improvement has been made in that line since the Granville scrimmage. Hopefully enough to get the win.
Go Burg!

Going with the Ironmen by a touchdown.
This is as even as the game as been for a few years.

Re: WK5 JACKSON. vs THA BURG ‘19
This game should be a win for Jackson after seeing both play, Jackson is a lot better and Wheelersburg not as good as they have been BUT…
1.Jackson coaches are probably stressing out over this game and the boys are probably feeling this from them so I hope that doesn't affect their play. It's week 5, have fun and just play ball.
2.Jackson will be able to run the ball but can they throw the ball when they have to, not when no one expects it. Will this be the week we see the young one?
3. Jackson's defense is really good. Has some issues in the passing game. Will the two safeties (aka LBs) play the pass or will they run up on anything that remotely looks like a run and get beet deep?
With all that being said I will take Jackson 21-20.
