Shanks was on fire and Will Futhey is just an animal. 5 TD receptions and an INT.
3 of those TD receptions were highlight reel.

Shoemaker 21 carries for 140 and 2 TD’s.

Will Futhey, whom we have been talking about, did the damage. Of course Shanks was able to go tonight and make the throws, huge kudos to the offensive line who gave him time to throw it.
The DEFENSE grew up as well tonight.
The only negative thing to say is the amount of penalties - clean that up.

I as a Waverly fan and grad always pull for my Tigers, but I didn't see this coming at all. Waverly's offense was firing on all cylinders, but are D stepped up with 3 interceptions.
Amanda looked a little shell shocked after it was 21-6. And they didn't have an answer defensively for Waverly's passing attack all night. Shanks, after a week off, looked like he was moving much better than he was vs. Unioto and even on the sideline at Fairland.
I'm not knocking anyone especially Shoemaker he's special and had another 100+ yard night, but I think Waverly showed people that we have other weapons beyond Payton.
