Burg is the top dog of the SOC no matter how they’ve played to this point. Should be good game regardless but I see Burg winning

Burg is a very poor tackling team to this point. I think if Minfords line cant give Vogelsong Lewis time, Minford will win.

Two outstanding running backs for both teams, should be a very good ballgame. Could be that QB play for each team might have a big bearing on the outcome?

Lewis and wiget are good. Mathews and ruby are just as good. Ik we can’t compare like opponents, but the greenup series should tell us something. Minford gave up 28, burg 7. Minford scores 42, burg 35. Edge on paper is to burg.

Burg needs to tackle better and stop the run.

Probably won’t see this but I’d like to see burg in the wishbone and dictate the time of possession. Minford can play. This will be a task for burg to win it.

Go Burg! This team is like Jekyll and Hyde you never know which one is gonna show up. If I mean it's a big if! If Burg would have played like they did against Ashland they would have beaten Jackson! That's twice this year that Burg looked out of sorts first against Ironton then last night with Jackson. All I know is that tackling has to get better and the qb play needs to improve. But the effort is there and I guess that's all u can ask for at this point. But anyway I got faith in the Burg that they will beat Minford in a good hard fought game. I would like to see Burg to try Kenny at qb just for a series or 2. I heard that he is gonna be a good one but being a freshman I guess u got to wait your turn

Burg is essentially a playoff lock at 5-5 and even a 36% chance at 4-6 so pump the breaks on the end season talk.

I gotta believe Burg has a lot of pride and is not satisfied with how things have went so far this season. I look for a much improved team to show up against Minford. Soul searching and a lot of having played bigger and better teams is going to start paying off. I wouldn't want to be the school who is Burgs break out game but it very well could be this week. Being 5 and 0 is a good feat to have accomplished and in the past Minford has been banged up at this pount of the season. I believe they are healthy along with Burg having all their players available. Should be a good SOC II contest.

Burg needs to forget the first 5 games and go back to the drawing board and win the second half of their season. Everybody could look back and say they could be 5-0 with anybody else’s schedule in the area playing D-V teams but just look at what the first 5 teams have done as far as their overall record 20-6, that’s 4 D-III and Ironton. Burg should be ok going forward but won’t be easy as they have a 5-0 Minford coming up next and two 4-1 teams in waverly and Valley. So that being said until a SOC beats burg or wins the league it’s burgs to lose!
