Another Friday in the books, can’t believe how fast it’s going. Portsmouth defense didn’t play very well, offense looked decent. Roe had a nice game through the air, and Parker went over 100 on the ground. Congrats to Talyn Parker on breaking the record set by JoJo Parker (his dad) as the all time leading rusher in Portsmouth High School history. It was nice to see the kicking game back. Trojans improve to 5-1 on the season.

Portsmouth can score on anybody. They need to find 11 guys wanting to get it done on defense. This has been for years now, not just this year!

Great game Portsmouth. Held coal grove to 13 points but the defense has to get better. They need to work on tackle drills badly and pass coverage. Offense will get the points but have to play better defense. Trojans cannot lose any of the next 3 if they want to play in a possible week 11. 8-2 is the minimum. Region 19 is tough. Congrats to Parker on beating his dads record. Until last night we havent beat coal grove. Took 5 years but they did it. I can’t stress enough about tackles. They have to be made.
