If they are 1 and 2 one of them will be facing NY in week 11. Unfortunately, it will be on a dirt/mud field. When will the OHSAA wise up and require turf fields for all playoff games?

If they meet again in Beverly that means Fort earned the right to play on that mud dirt field. Fort Frye scored 69 points that game it was 38-0. I don’t think the field had anything to do with it.Ground Buck wrote: Mon Oct 07, 2019 12:54 pmIf they are 1 and 2 one of them will be facing NY in week 11. Yea a good mud bath is a blast in those first round playoff games. Teams hate it when they have to go to the Tomcat Dome in week 11 and play on a field they can't stand up on. Who ever goes there this year will be rewarded with taking a cold shower in the baseball dugout after the game.EasternDspy wrote: Mon Oct 07, 2019 2:14 pmIf they meet again in Beverly that means Fort earned the right to play on that mud dirt field. I think whoever draws Springfield in 2nd is the winner. Mogadore is better then them.

I miss the days and the smell of playing on real grass on a cool fall friday night and getting dirt, mud, lime, grass stains & blood at different times on the uni & helmet but I'm old school.Chief Kdogg wrote: Mon Oct 07, 2019 2:21 pmYea a good mud bath is a blast in those first round playoff games. Trimble will pass Fort if Eastern Beats Belpre most likely. Last week Fort plays Magnolia that’s like no points.Happy McGavin wrote: Mon Oct 21, 2019 2:49 pm Looking like a tight finish for the #1 and 2 seed which will be between Springfield and Mogadore, same for 3 and 4 between Fort and Trimble
My prediction
1 Springfield 25.7
2. Mogadore 25.6
3. Fort Frye 22.5
4. Trimble 22.4
5. Dalton 18.75
6 Salineville Southern 17.95
7.Columbiana
8. Western Reserve
True, but I have Belpre beating Eastern. Wouldn't mind seeing Eastern win, but I don't think it really matters. The top 4 are all really good and your gonna have to go through at least 2 of them to win the region.EasternDspy wrote: Mon Oct 21, 2019 2:56 pmTrimble will pass Fort if Eastern Beats Belpre most likely.
