One of the best high school football games I’ve seen was the 2001 (I think) game between Wellston and NY. Brad Young scored 46 points for Wellston the eighth most at that time in Ohio history. Problem is NY scored 48 points. Rockets had a chance to win in the closing seconds but could not execute the pass. Maybe they should have run it one more time.

I look forward to another great game Friday. I think a lower scoring game favors the Rockets but we will see.

Wellston watch out for the onside kick to start the second half. NY has executed it way too many times against Wellston.

Correction, it was 2000 for the 47/46 game

Close game at the half . Look for the Bucks to pull away in the second half and win by 14+.

I disagree. I think this game will be decided in the 4th quarter. Unless 1 team makes a lot of mistakes then it could get outta hand.

Does this really need to be explained to you?
   If you think NY gets homer refs then you're off your rocker lol NY NEVER gets a call at home, they get homered at home lol
If you can sell that garbage to anyone you should sell them an ocean front home in Murray City while you have them on the hook.
Global warming man, it could happen 😂😂😂

Both teams defenses have to show out. I got Wellston in a close one.

Having seen both teams this season against RV.....I said it on air/radio from the Wellston press box Friday night.....Wellston is the best team I have seen all season long in 2019. RV has played CG, Gallipolis, Portsmouth, NY, Meigs and Wellston.

I'm going with Wellston in this one!

This is usually when Wellston falls apart. See if it’s different this year

NY has a division 1 running back and has played two teams that would kill most teams in SEO. Wellston last winning record in the TVC was 2008

Just keep in mind that Poo Bear is a Jackson poster and Raider 6309 is an Athens poster that go at it all the time. All you’ve heard from most posters from both sides that this is going to be a dogfight.

True , don’t put much stock in what I think. I have seen Wellston and just have a gut feeling they are too much for NY. However I have huge respect for NY program .

I think it will be pretty tight, either team can win IMO. Wellston will need their best game.

Who is the division 1 running back at NY? I have watched every NY game and haven't seen anyone who stood out. If they have a division 1 player they must be hiding him.
