May be our most underrated player......jump ball in the endzone against McCrae and yes even OSU CB's sez Terrance at 6'4"-215 and a leaper comes down with da ball.Raiderball wrote:I met Terrence McCrae and his family while on vacation in Daytona Beach this summer. Seemed like good kid and good family.
Hey NUMB-NUTS THAT IS LAST YEARS ROSTER! But nice try!Orange and Brown wrote:They have 7 tailbacks on the Roster and at least 4 of them are on scholly, most teams don't go after fullbacks they convert a big tailback or TE.Pol Pot wrote:Want to talk football? O.K.
Who's the Tailback going to be? Kenny Ashley stud recurit didn't graduate from Junior College. As it stands right now there are only two scholarship players at that position, and NO fullback again this year. How is Ohio going to get the tough yard?
Ryan Boykin- Freshman 6-1 213
Vince Davidson-jr 5-11 189
L.J. Flint-sr. 5-10 189
Chris Garret-sr. 5-8 185

Doc your problem is you and Dale Bandy both evaluated talent while at Portsmouth Clay, and we know how that worked out for Dale's career.Doc Panther wrote:Have you followed Ohio Football since the mid 60's like I have?Pol Pot wrote:Doc: I've crapped more knowledge of the MAC and Ohio football this morning than you've ever known. You still did not answer my question about the Running Back situation, and if that situation does not bother you then you obviously didn't watch last year as Ohio failed to run the ball when it counted and when they needed to control the ball and the clock. That situation has not been addressed as a view from the outside.
Best QB: I love Boo Jackson, they are stronger this year as they graduate a first team P.O.S. in T3, Bates is a great athlete however can he hit a receiver and make the tough throw?
OL: Getting better, but not the type yet who can make any back a good back....Also have lost some key depth
DL: Solid, and probably the best part of the team.
LB: Noah Keller and then ??????????
S: Talent, but either unproven, injury prone, or arrest prone....take your pick
TE: Love Jordan Thompson, but lack of depth
K: Need a punter.....Of course anything was better than I get drunk at a Bowl game and get kicked off the team.
WR: Decent talent, will be interesting to see how Brazil preforms with a #1 CB on him, where last year that #1 was on Price....Of course Brazil must also turn in a good grade card as usual in the second summer session.
In all I see this season coming down to a couple of things: 1 stay healthy, 2 stay out of trouble, 3 beat Toledo (haven't done since when? don't look it up, give me your best guess). 4, Must be able to run the football.
Of course not.
You're just a know it all pompous arse.....and Frank Peters could kick yours with one hand tied behind.
If you're an Ohio fan please defect.
Now that's funny......Dale is a nice guy.......decent b-ball player but not so good coach.....and I'll beg your pardon on my talent eval.....my intramural team that I hand picked and coached won the intramural championshipPol Pot wrote:Doc your problem is you and Dale Bandy both evaluated talent while at Portsmouth Clay, and we know how that worked out for Dale's career.Doc Panther wrote:Have you followed Ohio Football since the mid 60's like I have?Pol Pot wrote:Doc: I've crapped more knowledge of the MAC and Ohio football this morning than you've ever known. Just checking your thoughts on this. As I said earlier, the Ohio O-Line is bad! The running game is NON-EXISTENT, but remember I know nothing. Where are the best QB's, Best receivers? Still looking for the Best TE, Kicker is solid. MLB is a stud, but if you can't run the ball, and you can't stretch the field you will not win on a consistent basisDoc Panther wrote:Yeah....but I just wonder why he has a personal vendetta against Ohio....he does have some decent info so I'm guessing he's either a disgruntled OU employee or someone who was passed over.Orange and Brown wrote:Just ignore him
He really doesn't want to get into a question war with me about Ohio vs. the MAC this year....he'll lose on questions like best defensive line....best QB's....best receivers.....best TE....best kicker.....best coach....best safeties.....best MLB.....etc. etc.

What crow....I seldom post on this board.....I post daily on bobcatattack.com and got my arse jumped over there after Wofford because I said we were terrible.....now you jump it cause I PREDICTED (before Ashley and Harden gone....before Boo couldn't throw and before 3 or 4 o-line injuries) that we should be good. It doesn't go both ways.....I stick by my terrible statements.Pol Pot wrote:Jay Edwards and Chad Clemons will be sharing the balk of the snaps at the Mike this week as Noah Keller is out indefinately with an injury. DocPanther, I love how you run and hide....I am waiting on all this talent to take us to the BCS.
